The excitement for the Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 continues to build as today we bring you a look at some on-feet images of the sneaker. This Air Jordan 2 collaboration sees Jordan Brand team up with American artist, Nina Chanel Abney. Born in Chicago, based in New York, Abney’s rendition of the Air Jordan 2 is reminiscent of the OG Chicago colorway (which will also be returning this year) features a White leather construction on the upper with reptile texture overlay panels and suede at the toe and heels. Additional details include a red heel counter, black laces, Abney’s artwork featured on the hangtag, Abney’s name printed on the insoles, and a vintage-style Sail midsole atop a Red and Grey rubber outsole. Early reports have the Nina Chanel Abney x Air Jordan 2 releasing on July 8th but make sure you keep it locked to Kicks On Fire for updates.
