The Air Jordan 1 High OG “Rebellionaire” is finally debut at select retailers this weekend and it’s essentially inspired by the classic Air Jordan 1 “Banned” commercial, an acknowledgement of the time Michael Jordan was a rebel by wearing the Air Jordan 1 “Banned” even though he was fined for each game. Overall, the sneaker dons a “Black/White-Particle Grey” color scheme, and is highlighted with the words “They can’t stop you from wearing them,” in an all over print as a reference to the commercial. Additionally, a bold “X” print is prominent on the heels, while a white midsole and grey rubber outsole solidify the profile.
Retailing for $170, look for this Air Jordan 1 exclusively at select Jordan Brand stockists worldwide on March 12. A wider release at more retailers will occur on March 19, while availability on SNKRS will not be offered.
