Aleali May explains that this special iteration of the Air Jordan 4 celebrates Veterans Day.
“Made something special with Jordan Brand for my Dad, in celebration of Veterans Day 11/11. After basic training in 1990, he entered Desert Storm, and retired in 2013. Back in high school I lived with my dad while he was stationed at Fort Carson. Definitely had some good times at summer camp on base, or when we’d stop by his office, 3-29FA Alpha Battery. I can say my concept of traveling and perseverance was from him, amongst a whole lotta other things. He pulled out his uniform and switched out the tags for his patches. Kept it Friends & Family for this one!
The Aleali May x Air Jordan 4 Veterans Day PE is covered in a ripstop nylon construction done in a tan, brown, and green camouflage print. Details include suede midsoles and heel tabs, a removable velcro “Jumpman Compass” patch on the tongues, and purple quilted insole stamped with May’s “A” logo on them.
