Historic fancy tings are the words I would use to describe the shoe you see above. It’s a pair of Air Jordan 7 Cardinals that were game-worn (during the 1992 season) by Michael Jordan and also happened to be autographed by the GOAT. Wish you owned these? Well, you’re in luck, they’re up for grabs!
Steiner Sports’ latest auction gives you the opportunity to take these home as they recently listed these on their barter site. Bidding started at a cool $1,000 and it’s is currently at $2,860 with close to three weeks left. What do you think these will end up going for? Well, last month a pair of Jordan’s 1984 Olympic gold-medal game Converse sneakers sold for close to $200,000, so don’t be surprised if these end up going for a similar number.
The sneakers were donated by Bill Schmidt, the former vice president of Gatorade who helped produce the iconic “Be Like Mike” campaign. The shoes come with documentation from MEARS which proves they’re legit, as is Jordan’s autograph.
Last month, the Jumpman’s 1984 Olympic gold-medal game Converse sneakers sold for a record $190,373. Don’t be surprised if these fetch similar.
