Air Jordan 5 designer Tinker Hatfield states that the inspiration behind this colorway of the Air Jordan 5 is none other than classic fighter planes. As a matter of fact, Tinker used his original sketches of the Air Jordan 5 to create the colorway you see above.
This version of the Air Jordan 5 comes with a premium Grey (Stucco Green) suede upper paired up with the reflective camouflage detail placed on the tongue and heel wrap. The Fire Red hits reference back to some of the original designs back in ’91. The design also comes with an “AIR 23” logo on the heel and an icy translucent outsole.
