Kenley Jansen Of The Dodgers Received A Special Cleat Version Of The Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove

Kenley Jansen of the Los Angeles Dodgers played in his 2nd consecutive MLB All Star Game yesterday and before the first pitch was thrown out he took to his Twitter to show us some crazy heat that he was given from Jordan Brand.

The elite closer for the Dodgers was given a special cleat version of the Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove that releases this weekend. Unlike the pairs that hit retailers on Saturday, his pair features a black leather upper with red stitching on the side panels and heel, white on the inner liner and the Jordan branding on the tongue, his initial and number “KJ74” on the inner tongue, and a 74 on the heel. As we noted, this is also a special cleated version of the shoe that will most likely remain an exclusive to MLB players.

What are your thoughts on the Jansen’s PE version of the Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove?
