Jordan Brand usually gives us one Air Jordan 11 (midtop) release per year, but this year appears to be different. Aside from the Air Jordan 11 Gym Red that’s expected to release on December 16th, there also appears to be another Air Jordan 11 expected to release just couple weeks before. Meet this year’s Jordan Brand Black Friday release, the Air Jordan 11 Midnight Navy.
Believed to be inspired by Michael Jordan’s alma mater, this Air Jordan 11 Mid features a White ballistic nylon mesh on the upper with Midnight Navy detailing on the OG patent leather mudguard, inner liner, heel, and the branding on the tongue. The Jumpman on the ankle and tongue are done in University Blue to complete the UNC connection. Down below we have a white midsole and icy blue translucent outsole to wrap things up.

Juan Carrillo, Editor: I dig it. I’d like it even more if the Blue on the Jumpman ends up being the same shade as the Blue on the mudguard. In my opinion, the Jumpman done in that Light Blue seems a bit out of place. Aside from that, the shoe looks great!
