As suggested, the sneaker incorporates the familiar “Shattered Backboard” theme which was popularized on the Air Jordan 1 High. Sail dominates its leather upper alongside the tonal textile mesh utilized for the collar, quarter panel and tongue. Finally, orange and black adorn its midsole while silver 3M reflective tongues and the shark-teeth along the tooling, followed by a translucent outsole tops off the design.
Retailing for $190, look for this Air Jordan 5 at select Jordan Brand stockists and online on October 2. The previous release was slated for September 25.
