Mark Wilkins, design director of VRTIGO.jpg has always wanted to collaborate with Jordan Brand on a sneaker. Although that hasn’t happened just yet, Mark decided to take matters into his own hands and give us a visual of what that collab would look like. Introducing the Air Jordan 6 Black Denim VRTIGO
Mark used the recently released Air Jordan 6 Washed Denim as his base shoe because the Jordan 6 is one of his favorite Jordan models of all time. He loves Black denim and the color Green, so making the blacking out the shoe and adding hits of Green was a no-brainer. The shoe’s aesthetic was inspired by one of the most recent denim pants that @vrtigo.jpg dropped. Black distressed wax denim upper and kelly green accents and 3m hints (VRTIGO X Don’t Look Down) inside the tongue. Simple yet effective. You messing with these?
