In 2017 Jordan Brand took what is perhaps their most iconic silhouette, the Air Jordan 1, and created a Flyknit version of the sneaker. While the shoe received mixed reviews, it appears that we’ll be seeing more Air Jordan retro models get the Flyknit treatment in 2018.
Up above we get a first look at what is believed to be the Air Jordan 6 Flyknit. The shoe eliminates the traditional leather/nubuck/suede that we see on the upper and replaces it with a lightweight and breathable Flyknit material. Other details include a heel pull tab, heel counter, Flywire cables on the side panels, and the traditional Air Jordan 6 midsole and outsole.
At the moment the Air Jordan 6 Flyknit is expected to release some time in the Spring of 2018. What are your early thoughts on the shoe? Stay tuned to Kicks On Fire for updates.
