Jordan Brand has officially unveiled the return of the Air Jordan 3 White Cement to celebrate the 30-year-anniversary of that iconic moment when Michael Jordan pushed the limits of gravity when he launched from the free throw line during the 1988 Slam Dunk Contest. The shoe comes in that very same OG color scheme with White, Fire Red, Cement Grey and Black hues with the addition of a translucent sole that features a red stripe to represent the exact place where MJ took flight. Other distinct markings are “3:51” on the back pull tabs as a nod to the time MJ took flight and “147” on the tongue to reflect MJ’s total score in the final round of the Dunk contest.
