The wait is finally (almost over) as the J Balvin x Air Jordan 1 High has been given a tentative release date. To think, we’ve known about this Air Jordan 1 collab since February when J Balvin wore them during the Super Bowl LIV halftime performance with Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.
The J Balvin x Air Jordan 1 High is notably one of the standout releases this holiday season. Designed by the renowned Colombian reggaeton artist, the shoe is reflective of J Balvin’s eccentric aesthetic. Done in an official color scheme listed as Multi-Color/Black-Pink Foam-Multi-Color, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 1 High sports a colorful tie-dye finish across the layered canvas uppers with jagged edges on the toe box. Other details include exposed foam tongues, removable patches including Balvin’s Happy Face logo and the iconic Jumpman which can be placed on the heels and tongues. Finally, crisp light Pink rubber soles top off the profile.
According to zsneakerheadz, the J Balvin x Air Jordan 1 High is slated to release on December 4th at select retailers and Nike.com. No word yet on how much this Air Jordan 1 High will retail for.
