After months of speculation as to when exactly the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 Sail would be releasing, Nike has finally given us a confirmed release date for one of the most anticipated Jordan Brand releases of 2020.
Virgil Abloh’s interpretation of the silhouette consists of pristine sail textile mesh uppers that bear the distinct circular cut-outs found on the signature netting across its sides, tongues, and ankle portion, in addition to 3M reflective elements on the tongues. Finally, yellow zip tags, vintage red/black midsoles as a nod to the original AJ 5 “Fire Red,” “23” marking across the heels, and the beloved Nike Air branding adorning its heel tabs top off the stye.
