David Garcia, better known as @DaveToldYaSo on IG recently unveiled this dope custom we thought all of you should take a look at. Dubbed the Air Jordan 1 High Seoul, the custom is inspired by the city of Seoul. What make it even more special is that the custom was actually made as a gift for a close friend of David. The Air Jordan 1 High Seoul is an ode to the vibrant capital of South Korea. Premium Italian leathers are used to reconstruct the upper while the color blocking used on the panels are meant to represent the Korean flag. The red and blue patent leathers portray the bright neon lights found in the city. The smooth black and tumbled white leathers add a premium touch to the kicks, as do the waxed laces. If you take a closer look, you will find laser etched detailing and hand-painted tongue tags – the front displaying the Korean Flag and the back revealing a message to my friend in Korean that reads “For my brother” on one shoe and “For my best friend” on the other.
