Earlier this month we let you know that an Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Sports Illustrated was in the works. Today we get a first look at the new Air Jordan 1 flavor.
Said to be a nod to Michael Jordan’s first Sports Illustrated cover during his rookie season with the Chicago Bulls (see above), the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Sports Illustrated comes dressed in a White and Black leather upper offset by the Red detailing on the Wings logo, tongue, and outline of the Swoosh. The shoe’s most notable feature is the Swoosh branding done in a Green striped pattern said to represent the jerseys of the Milwaukee Bucks, which was the team Jordan was playing against while on the covers of this Sports Illustrated issue. Look for the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Sports Illustrated to release this Holiday season for the retail price of $160.
