Many of us consider Fragment 1s to be Air Jordan 1 grails. Not many we’re released to begin with and the resell price on those bad boys is currently marked at ridiculous. So, if you’re looking for an alternative that will be easy on the wallet, check out how similar the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Game Royal looks side to side with the Jordan 1 Frags.
Set to be one of the many Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG dropping next year, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Game Royal is nearly identical to the Fragment 1s. The only major difference (aside from the Frag branding on the heel) is swapping out the Black detailing on the toecap and eyestay and replacing it with more Game Royal.
That being said, the rest of the shoe comes in a leather upper dressed in a Game Royal, Summit White and Black color scheme. The choice of color blocking is similar to that of that of the Chicago 1, with the only difference being the swapping of Red hits in favor of Royal accents. Nike Air on the tongue, a midsole/outsole done in a White/Game Royal combination round out the design of the shoe.
We already know many of you guys are going to be calling these the poor man’s Frags, but if you look at them for what they are, these are pretty clean 1s if you ask me.
