The main reason is because he wore some of the best Air Jordan retros of all-time, including some of his very own PE colorways. One of the most popular is the white, purple, and yellow Air Jordan 3 which was given to friends & family of the brand last year in a special pack alongside Kobe’s Air Jordan 8 covered in the same colors.
This special Air Jordan 3 that was specifically designed for the Mamba back in 2002-2003 was recently auctioned off on eBay and sold for a whopping $30,400.
