According to whoischickenwop, the upcoming baseball-inspired Air Jordan 9 will not be just another GR. As a matter of fact, it may take some time and effort (or a call to your plug) in order to pick up a pair being that the shoes are said to be limited to only 2,000 pairs.
As mentioned earlier this week, this new iteration of the Air Jordan 9 will come with a Black tumbled leather equipped with tonal woven detailing on the side panels and heel. The woven detailing on the shoe is said to mimic and be inspired by the design of a baseball mitts. The all-Black upper is paired up with even more Black on the leather laces and midsole. Providing contrast is the use of White on the lining, outsole, tongue branding, “45” on the heel (Michael’s baseball number), and the custom pinstripe insoles. No release date yet but keep it locked to Kicks On Fire and we’ll provide you with that info as soon as it’s made available.
