Another premium version of the Air Jordan 5 is on the way. This one goes by the name of the Air Jordan 5 Premium Triple Black. This premium version of the Air Jordan 5 comes dressed in Black from top to bottom. The shoe is constructed out of a premium leather upper. Even more of leather is fount on the lining of the shoe as well as on the midsole. Distinct features on the shoe include the ribbed paneling placed on both the tongue and side panels where you usually find the plastic netting. Additional premium features include the carbon fiber-like eyelets, embossed branding, the “Flight” tongue tag and the smokey translucent outsole. Retail price will be $400 and is expected to release during the month of July.

Juan Carrillo, Editor: I’m a fan of the execution of the premium 5s, it’s just hard for me to pay $400 for a model that I like, but don’t love. I’d pay $250, but not $400. Very clean shoe, though.
