If you’re not one of those people that despise the Air Jordan 1 Mid, we got a clean new colorway of the model to share with you. Now up for grabs, here is an official look at the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Paris YMCA.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Paris YMCA pays homage to Europe’s oldest basketball court at the Paris YMCA, which dates back to 1893. Arriving in a Velvet Brown, Earth, Sanddrift, Metallic Gold, and Summit White color scheme, the colors on the sneaker are meant to mimic the colors you see on the original court’s dark wooden construction. Additionally, the sneaker also comes constructed out of a mix of premium leather, suedes, and even a woven pattern used on the heel overlay and tongue tags that is reminiscent of the court’s herringbone wooden layout. Another significant feature is the hangtag that reads “Tribute to the oldest basketball court in Europe, Paris 1893,” further acknowledging the court’s historical significance as the first basketball court outside the United States. A White midsole and Brown rubber outsole complete the look.
Retailing for $150, the Air Jordan 1 Mid SE Paris YMCA is now available at select retailers and on Nike.com.
