While we await official release information for the upcoming J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 Medellin Sunset, new information has leaked regarding the next J Balvin x Jordan Brand collaboration as there will reportedly be another Air Jordan 3 dropping in the summer of 2024. For the summer of 2024 we’ll see the arrival of the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 “Rio”.
This J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 is named after his son, Rio, who was born in June 2021. Our first look shows that the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 Rio comes dressed in a Black, Solar Flare, and Total Crimson Abyss color scheme. Design details include a Black leather base, Dark Grey/Black elephant print overlays on the toe and heels, a gradient midsole and outsole, and translucent heel tabs housing J Balvin’s smiley logo on the right heel and Nike Air branding on the left heel. Design details paying tribute to J Balvin’s son, Rio will also be present, but have yet to be unveiled.
Retailing for $250, look for the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 Rio to release during the Summer of 2024 at select retailers and Nike.com. Stay tuned for official release confirmation from Nike. UPDATE (1/2): The J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 Rio is slated to make its debut during the upcoming Summer season. Below you will get a latest look at the sneakers courtesy of Frank Cooker. As you can see, this pair slightly differs from the pair we previously saw as the elephant print overlays come in a darker hue. Do you prefer this look or the more classic Grey/Black elephant print?
