After weeks of rumors and speculation, Trophy Room has finally announced official release information for their highly anticipated Air Jordan 1 High collaboration.
Dubbed the Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Freeze Out”, this colorway serves as a twist on the popular OG Chicago pair but with some minor tweaks and changes here and there. In a new video released by Trophy Room, they have revealed the inspiration for this colorway comes from the rumored freezing out of Michael Jordan by his teammates in the 1985 NBA All-Star Game. This Air Jordan 1 features white leather uppers that are complemented with subtly glittered red overlays. The traditional red stitching across its base has also been replaced with white for a pronounced touch, while the most notable highlight consists of MJ’s signature etched across the heels. Finally, translucent outsoles that reveal red and blue stars underneath, alongside “Trophy Room” patches sewn into the insoles round out the theme. The shoe is also limited to 12,000 pairs.
