A brand new iteration of the Air Jordan 4 will be arriving this summer and it will honor the classic FIBA Basketball World Cup, an international basketball competition by the senior men’s national teams of the members of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA). It begins on August 31, 2019 until September 15, 2019. The sneaker essentially sports a patriotic color scheme of Gym Red, White, Metallic Gold, and Obsidian to reflect Team USA, while a patterned detail graces the side panels and tongues.
According to Jordan Brand, the original mesh-filled cutouts of the Air Jordan IV are replaced with graphics inspired by the national flags from the participants of the tournament.
