The Air Jordan 19 Flint will be getting the retro treatment in 2019, sort of.
The upcoming 2019 version of the shoe will go by the name of the Air Jordan 19 Melo Flint. Reason being is because the release pays homage to Carmelo Anthony who wore the shoe during the 2004 season as a member of the Denver Nuggets. “Melo” details on the shoe include the special Melo branding on the insoles that pays tribute to the Jordan Brand athlete. The rest of the shoe consists of a White, Chrome, and Flint Grey color scheme. The shoe comes with a White leather and patent leather upper offset by the Flint Grey accents noted on the mesh netting overlays. The upper is done in a tech-flex built with Velcro heel strap and plastic lace-locks. Adding some bold hits to the shoe is the Chrome Jumpman on the midfoot and on the back heel.
