What do the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan XX (20) have in common? They all come in Flyknit iterations, well at least they will pretty soon judging by the pics shown above.
The shoe you see above is said to be the Air Jordan XX Flyknit. It’s essentially a modern take on Jordan’s 20th signature model consisting of a newly-constructed upper done out of Flyknit. Shown in two different colorways (Olive and Black), the Air Jordan XX Flyknit features a sock-like Flyknit upper, a wide leather forefoot strap atop the lacing system with “72023” branding, an ankle leather strap, and a dual density IPS (Independent Podular Suspension) cushioning system. The Olive pair comes with Black accents and Orange outsole/leather heel counter. The Black colorway comes with Gold contrasting and a classic gum outsole. Also worth noting is the Carmelo Anthony “Melo”-branded insoles, an embossed Jumpman at the heel counter. How is this model linked to Melo? Soon we will find out.
No word yet on when the Air Jordan XX Flyknit will release, but early reports suggest we see these drop during the Fall season. Stay tuned.
