To celebrate the 10 year anniversary of the release of the Levi’s x Air Jordan 1 that released back in 2008, the two brands will come together once again in 2018 to release a Levi’s x Air Jordan 4 Collection.
The second pair is essentially identical to the blue pair except that the denim upper is done in black this time around. A lighter shade of denim is seen on the tongue as well as the inner liner. Finishing details include Levi’s x Air Jordan tongue labels, Levi’s red tags, and a Gum rubber outsole.
At the moment the Levi’s x Air Jordan 4 Black Denim is expected to release in men’s and GS sizes some time in June 2018.

This special version of the Air Jordan 4 is essentially a denim-constructed version of the model. The Indigo upper comes in different hues that cover all areas of the shoe that include the Wings, underlays, side panels, tongue and heel tab. An interesting details is the decision to make the tongue tag resemble the tag we’re used to seeing on Levi’s jeans. A denim midsole and gum outsole are also a part of the shoe’s design.

Update (1/8/17): Nike has officially unveiled the first Blue Denim colorway from the Levi’s x Air Jordan 4 Collection which includes a matching reversible trucker jacket. The shoes ($225) and jacket ($180) will release on January 17th at select retailers.
Update (1/3/17): According to @zsneakerheads the Blue Denim colorway of the Levi’s x Air Jordan 4 is expected to release on January 17th 2018 at Tier 0 accounts only, meaning that they will be extremely limited and difficult to get. It is also being said that the shoes will be accompanied by reversible trucker jacket. The expected retail price tag for the shoes is $225.
Update (12/21/17): The first blue denim colorway of the Levi’s x Air Jordan 4 has been unveiled by Travis Scott. No word on a release date at the moment.
