Releasing as a grade-school exclusive, the Air Jordan 1 personifies the yoga philosophy as it places an emphasis on balance and inner peace. Design details on the Japanese culture-inspired sneaker consist of an Aegean Storm, Hemp, and Pink Oxford color scheme defined by the “Zen” branding in English and Kanji on the tongues signifying mindfulness and cultural respect. Another unique features includes the Yoga poses on the collar that further enhance the theme of tranquility. Inside of the tongue, you will find leather tags housing “Inhale” and “Exhale,” that reminds you of the breath’s importance in attaining Zen. Construction-wise, you will get hooked up with an array ox textures and materials with some looking to mirror ocean waves. You also get a semi-translucent with more ocean waves inspiration all while being packaged with a global-inspired message that prompts reflection on role models’ influence.
