Remember last year’s Air Jordan 1 Mid Familia release? Well, another version will be dropping this year as part of a wider Nike/Jordan collection that celebrate DÃa de Muertos (Day of the Dead).
Our first look at this Air Jordan 1 Mid Familia shows that it comes dressed in Black and Red color blocking complimented by a whole lot of decorative and themed details. For starters, the Swoosh is redesigned to make it look like a spear while also adding colors and designs with a heavy influence to Mexican culture. The sneaker also come with glossy safari-like overlays and a bold Red toe box completed with spiky teeth. The Wings branding on the collar is done in hues that match the aesthetic of the Swoosh branding, while“Familia” branded tongues, a White midsole and Red rubber outsole round out the main features of the sneaker.
Retailing for $125, look for this Air Jordan 1 Mid Familia to drop sometime in October at select retailers and Nike.com.
