After initial rumors of a possible Off-White™ x Air Jordan 1 “Canary Yellow” dropping in 2020, it’s now suggested to be releasing this year, as a pixelated graphic of the silhouette, amongst other censored sneakers, has appeared on Virgil Abloh’s public-domain website — indicating that its arrival is “ACTUALLY PENDING.” It’s worth noting that the other models featured are Serena Williams’ Off-White™ x Nike Court Flare 2 PEs, two Off-White™ x Futura x Nike Dunk Lows, and two Yellow Off-White™ x Nike Air Force 1s.

The OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 1 Canary Yellow was first unveiled as a sample colorway of the model during Virgil Abloh’s “Figures of Speech” exhibition at Chicago’s Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA).

Virtually identical to the three previous OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 1 colorways that did make it to retailers, this Air Jordan 1 collaboration comes with the signature OFF-WHITE deconstructed look and unique details like exposed foam, stitched on Swooshes, “AIR” branding on the midsoles, and the signature zip tie done in Black. The OFF-WHITE x Air Jordan 1 Canary Yellow gets covered in a White upper with Yellow contrasting overlays.
