In a couple of weeks Jordan Brand will be bringing back an Air Jordan 1 colorway that hasn’t seen a retro since its debut almost 20 years ago with the arrival of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG CO.JP Tokyo.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG CO.JP Tokyo is reflective of the original 2001 Air Jordan 1 High “Japan” that was limited to 2,001 pairs. This time featuring “Nike Air” branded tongues, the silhouette is draped in a similar Neutral Grey, White, and Metallic Silver color scheme as found on the 2001 version. Smooth and premium tumbled leather comprises the upper, while Metallic Silver hits adorn the leather on the heel, Swooshes, and toe box. Finally, a white midsole and grey rubber outsole rounds out the style.
There will also be a limited-edition version housed in a silver suitcase which will be releasing exclusively in Japan.
