The Sneakersnstuff x Air Jordan Past, Present, Future comes with a story told through a campaign starring NBA forward Rui Hachmiura, the first Japanese-born player to be drafted into the NBA. Presenting his evolution as a basketball player, Sneakersnstuff portraits the rising star in a Past – Practice; Present – The Draft; Future – The Player setting, reimagining his young career.
The SNS exclusive Jordan Pack draws inspiration from when SNS first opened, on a back street of Stockholm. Each of the silhouettes pays homage to the colors of the original store interior and the classic Sneakersnstuff logo.
While referencing SNS’ history, the Air Jordan 1 Mid ($140) looks to Jordan Brand DNA through a premium selection of materials, made from sail-colored leather, Wolf Grey-colored nubuck, and hints of Team Red. As a tribute to its roots as well as the status quo of current Jordan shoes, Sneakersnstuff blends materials, elements and inspiration on the exclusive Jordan Mars 270 ($160) with design features from the Jordan 1, 4, 5, 6, 10, 11 and 12 as well as being stacked with an Air Max 270 heel unit. Acknowledging the past and present of Jordan Brand’s narrative, the SNS exclusive Proto-Max 720 ($200) embodies the future and where new concepts and technologies can lead to.
