Following early reports of the Air Jordan 11 “Bred” 2019 suggesting that it will feature “45” on its heels, rumors from other sources have just revealed that the 2019 retro will actually incorporate “23” branding instead. Another teaser of the purported 2019 production model has also surfaced, confirming the digit placement on its heel tabs.
It’s worth noting that Tinker Hatfield originally designed the Air Jordan 11 “Bred” with the numbers “45” on its heels, but the final production featured the numbers “23,” which Michael Jordan eventually wore on-court notably during the 1996 NBA Finals. However, the colorway debuted in 1995. Overall, the 2019 version will boast the original high-cut patent leather construction, paired with ballistic nylon and leather accents, while another notable detail consist of a red Jumpman logo across the collar.
