Shown above, this new Jake Danklefs was made to help Texas fans “Find their Beach” mindset during the craziness of March Madness. Danklefs – who has partnered with iconic figures like LeBron James and Jay-Z – crafted the shoe utilizing the iconic Corona blue, limes and sand with Texas’ signature burnt orange.
The shoe starts off with a White base that is then hand-painted with pearlescent pacific blue and lime green accents to represent Corona. The tongues were hand made with calf (embroidered) and burnt orange lambskin backing. Below you will find a midsole painted with sand-textured paint to resemble the beach, whereas the heal was coated with a layer of Texas burnt orange
Fans in Texas (who are 21+) can enter to win one of 12 custom pairs by simply following @coronausa on IG and sharing a picture in their school colors with #HornsUpSweepstakes. Sweeps are now live and runs until March 31st.
