The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG Defiant (Couture) is dropping soon, and it was previously said to be inspired by the craftsmanship of luxury Italian sports cars, but according to Nike, “Couture” celebrates the fashion community and the bold racing stripe pulls inspiration from the famed “Banned” colorway. Sporting a mix of Black and Gym Red with Muslin, the sneaker’s black leather upper is detailed with a red Banned-inspired bar that covers the Swoosh logos and across the heels. Completing the look are black and red Nike Air tongue labels, the wings on the upper ankles and a Muslin-colored rubber sole.
