The Countdown For The Air Jordan 1 Retro High Flyknit Banned Begins

Although we’ve known about the shoe since the month of May, Jordan Brand is finally set to drop the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Flyknit. Set to make its debut in the classic Banned/Bred color scheme, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High Flyknit Banned is essentially a modernized/updated version of the classic leather Air Jordan 1 Retro High Bred. Dropping in just a few days, today we take a closer look at the shoe courtesy of our good friends over at BSTN (Germany retailer).

This version of the Air Jordan 1 High swaps out the leather upper in favor of a Flyknit finish done in the Bred color scheme. Although most of the shoe is made out of Flyknit, the shoe still comes with leather hits noted on the Nike Air branding on the tongue, Wings logo, Swooshes branding on the sides and the entire inner lining of the shoe. A small detail that should not be overlooked is the sizing and production information done in Gold along with a matching 1985 graphic placed on the lining of the shoe. A White midsole and Red outsole complete the classic aesthetics of the shoe.

Retailing for a price tag of $200, look for this Air Jordan 1 High Flyknit at select Jordan Brand stores and online on September 9th. Click and bookmark our Air Jordan 1 Retro High Flyknit Banned (Bred) hub page now for the latest images, information and full release details.
