The Air Jordan 5 Fab Five was probably the biggest sneaker news of last week. We got our first look at the shoe courtesy of DJ Khaled and now we have detailed official imagery that gives us out best look yet.
Just like you’d expect, the Air Jordan 5 Fab Five is flames! This exclusive Air Jordan 5 commemorates one of the most recognized teams in college basketball history, the Michigan Wolverines from the ’90s consisting of Chris Webber, Juwan Howard, Jalen Rose, Jimmy King and Ray Jackson. Opting for a bold finish, the shoe comes with a suede upper done in a clean Maize colorway. Sharp contrasted is created by the use of Black noted on the midsole and tongue. Plenty of detailing is found on the shoe such as the Maize speckling on the midsole, the embroidered tonal “M” logo on the tongue, the phrase “Hail To” and “The Victors” stitched on the left and right tongues, and the custom logo created by Hatfield representing the team’s “five times” signal that they used during games placed on the heel. Although most of us won’t be able to get our hands on a pair, a few lucky people will get gifted a pair by Tinker himself since the shoe is said to be a Friends and Family creation.
