Surpassing the Air Jordan 11 72-10 that dropped the year before, the Air Jordan 11 Space Jam is now known as the largest grossing sneaker in Nike history as Nike’s Brand President Trevor Edwards confirmed in a recent Nike, Inc. report, saying, “The Space Jam 11 was the largest and most successful shoe launch in the history of Nike.”
Although it was priced at a hefty $220, and came with subtle changes many weren’t to happy about (45 on the heel, higher patent leather mudguard cut) it appears like the shoe was too much of a classic for people to pass up on.
